How to care

Lucy’s five steps for flowers that last

One. Handle dried flowers gently but firmly.

Two. Don’t settle them in a damp location, display or store your flowers in a dry place.

Three. To best preserve their naturally vivid colours, keep them out of direct sunlight.

Four. If you need to dust your everlasting flowers, use a hairdryer on cold or give your flowers a little shake outside.

And, five. As time passes, the new becomes old to the eye. If you get the itch for a floral refresh, you can rearrange them, add new stems or craft them into something new. If you’re feeling radical, you can even chuck them onto a lovely compost heap to go back into the soil, and go and take a look at some of the new designs in our shop.
